Social Media – Blessing or Curse?

Since the computer age began we have always had to ask ourselves about the benefit of using computers. Often they provide more problems than they solve – they crash, they get corrupt, they often need huge updates. A never-ending story, perhaps a time-wasting story. But now we can’t live without them. Computers have replaced old structures in manufacturing goods. They are working more accurately and more innovatively, like the digital fabricator (fabber) that can make three-dimensional objects and don’t need lunch breaks or sleep.

When Social Media arrived we had the same problem again. Is it blessing or a curse? On the one hand you can achieve information in real-time, on the other hand it needs a lot of attention to filter that information.
